Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Have you tried booting without the 'quiet' and 'usplash' kernel options? Thanks in advance.

I am rejecting this bug because I contacted the author of the bug report (I am just an inbetween person to post the bug here for his convenience) and he told me the problem got fixed when he burnt a new cd.
