canont easily see the precise value of a number in a cell

This is not a bug, but a missing feature.

If a cell's format limits the number of significant figures, there is no easy way to look
at the precise value. I suggest to have it work the way it does in Excel: when you select
the cell containing the value, the entry area shows you the value with lots of decimal
(I suppose it uses the Generic format).

As a workaround until something is implemented, upstreams says that you can use the following "trick" :

1. Click in cell.
2. Right-click in "Sum=..." area at the bottom right of the window and select maximum precision.

The precision will be maximal in the sum field at the bottom of the screen.
