Empathy window (contacts list) does not getting focus after opening from icon in message indicator

When I click on icon of message indicator to open contacts list I expect to have a focus on this window.
It has not focus and very often I start to type to find some person but then I write into another window which had focus before.

Release: 12.04
empathy: 3.4.2.3-0ubuntu1
