need privilege root password when i start it i dont get a window to put the password

im using Ubuntu 7.04
                - the Feisty Fawn - released in April 2007.

its new installed and not update from 6.10

i have resolved that plm
i have reinstall the adept manager using synaptic
i have run

sudo dkg --configure-a

later alt+f2

and i wrote

kdesu adept_manager

and it works now

Is it ok if I close this report. It is likely that it was caused by non-syncronised libraries.
