Bug Description

I'm running inkscape 0.48.2 for snow leopard on Mountain Lion fully updated. The system is a new imac. I also run two monitors if that matters and have a tablet connected, but I wasn't using it. I have the newest XQuartz installed from it's website.

Inkscape starts up fine.. pops up a window with a blank document in it. I go and select any drawing tool and try to draw something (a box, ellipse, etc..) and nothing ever shows up in the drawing area. I can click on menus and the palette buttons respond, but nothing ever shows up/responds in the drawing area. Also if after trying to draw I close the window it doesn't ask if I want to save, so nothing was recorded in the drawing area either.

I also have mac ports installed, but nothing X11 related.

Not that I can tell. In the input device screen, both pen and core pointer have screen selected.

I just did a little more research. It's the pen setting. If you have both selected, nothing works. If you turn off pen, the mouse works. It will not allow me to turn off core pointer so no way to check if pen alone works.

Is this still happening with 0.91 or 0.92?
