Bug Description

In MSTS there is a documented parameter for wagons without air brakes fitted to them. A wagon's BrakeSystemType can be set to "air_piped" and this supposedly simulates a wagon without brakes fitted. I am not certain whether this works in MSTS, though I suspect not.

In NSW (Australia), up to the early 1970s there was a significant number of coal hoppers that were not fitted with air brakes, and it would be good to be able to simulate them. The train simply relied on the locomotive brakes and the brakevan.

Is it possible to include this configuration parameter with the appropriate functionality?

Thanks

Hi Peter,

I don't know the answer; maybe there's already a way to have unbraked stock.

However I did want to jump in and say this forum is not the best place to make a Feature Request. The Elvas Tower forum at http://www.elvastower.com/forums/index.php?/forum/192-discussion-questions-help/ is a better place as your suggestion is likely to provoke some useful discussion and clarification.

I have added your suggestion to my wish list though.

Would you mind re-posting your request there and we'll see what the response is?

Thanks,

Chris
