Bug Description

00:1b.0 Ethernet controller: ALi Corporation ULi 1689,1573 integrated ethernet. (rev 50)

This one does not work!!

The light on my router disappears, when Ubuntu Feisty is loaded! When I remove "modprobe -r uli526x" then the light appears, but the LAN-card disappears in the Network tool and NetworkManager!!

If I modprobe uli526x again, once I was able to configure it, but all the other times it was not possible!!

Bye

Hey, I tried it out a little bit and when choosing "Roaming Mode" in the Network tool, the card appears in NetworkManager and then just works...

Fixed? Well not really, for this card should be "Roaming Mode" activated by default I think!!

Bye

By the way, this workaround does not work in 7.10 Beta!
So it is important to fix it - look what the Fedora Team did, because it works there.
