Hi Max,
Why do you want to set the team contact address to your own email address?
Perhaps it isn't clear enough what the team contact address is for. The purpose is to handle notifications (e.g. bug mail) directed to the team. If the contact email is set, then mail for the team gets sent there. If it is not set, then each member of the team is emailed individually.
