Bug Description

Test case:
recent install ( yesterdays image here
Open Home folder un-maxed
Open another un-maxed nautilus window containing a lot of folders, /usr/share is ex.
Switch focus from windows & desktop - all is fine

Use scale (super+w), may need to use scale a few times
Then switch focus from window to window to desktop, ect. Icons are wrong in many cases
Attached video show, sorry about size

This is just the least of the mis-behavior, if one was to use a custom gtk color can get worse, ex.
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface gtk-color-scheme "selected_bg_color:#DCBE89;selected_fg_color:#3c3b37"

Directly attributed to the recent cairo upgrade, (1.12.10-1ubuntu1), downgrading to previous, (1.12.8-0ubuntu4) & there are no such problems

Another way to demonstrate this behavior albeit a non standard setting is to disable 'show-desktop-icons' in org.gnome.desktop.background
Then with 2 well populated un-maxed nautilus windows open switching focus from one to the other will create.
