Bug Description
It'd be useful in the integration tests if there was a way to inspect the cluster controller (node-group in the API lingo) and verify if it has imported the pxe files.
Since there's a message in the UI that shows that information, I guess it's just a matter of exposing the same in the API?

Indeed, it should be as simple as adding a method on the nodegroup object and exposing it in the API.
