I had some more crashes after submitting this bug but didn't discover anything new. But since over a week now, I hadn't a new crash so I guess some update fixed the problem.

Thought I'd add to this one rather than add to the chorus of crash bugs. I just hit a crash with what appears to be the same config. (x86_64 amd64 3200+) with feisty 7.04 current as of 2007/05/18. The web site that triggered the crash was www.cnn.com. There is no crash dump in /var/crash. Firefox offers to restore session on relaunch but the program again crashes after most content is displayed. I suspect flash but no proof. Let me know what I can check.

I have feisty fawn 7 installed on a Sun Microsystem Hybrid of amd64, and cannot get flash plugin or the flash palyer to work at all. nor can I get it to play dvd movies. It works on previous versions of Ubuntu . So why was support removed for falsh and dvd movies?
