Ratings interoperability or import

I currently use Banshee as my main music player in elementary and have a large library of songs - many of which I have given ratings which I use to generate playlists of my favourite tracks. I would no like to move over to Noise which is a much more lightweight piece of software but the ratings data stored in my MP3 files by banshee are not displayed in Noise - I am assuming that Banshee and Noise use different tags to store this data.

It would be useful if there was some way of importing the ratings created by Banshee into Noise so that I don't have to manually rate all my music files again just to use Noise. I guess that depends just how much demand there is though - otherwise I would be interested to know of any workarounds other users may have discovered for manually converting metadata.

I can't make this an important feature but I would vouch for it being significant to users that rate their music and make playlists based upon that information and play counts. If the information can't be imported automatically then the Smart Playlists feature can quickly become unusable/not used by users migrating from other music players.

If I remember correctly, Banshee is one of the few players that stores rating data in the proper place so it would be nice if this was a feature eventually implemented.
