Bug Description

This feature request from old bug tracker.

Hi,

Thank you for your wonderful work!

I would like to have an option in the Date/Time window to choose a time zone different from my own. This way, if I live in Europe and I want to see an astronomical event from china, I can see what is the time in china at the time of the event. More useful than knowing what is the time in europe!
The best would be if I would be able to choose any time zone, and there would be also a button "read time zone from system" or "restore to default" that would restore the time zone to my own.

Thanks again!

Dear devs, please consider these three comments on the matter.

First, I think the time zone plugin solves the main issue of this bug. Thank you!

Second, as the time zone depends on the location, I would like to propose to have the time zone plugin accessible directly from the location window. That way it is easily discovered when needed.

Third, it would be awesome to have an option to select some sort of local time, e.g. mean solar time, which is computed from the longitude of the current location. This is useful if it is unclear what timezone a given location is in.

Thank you for considering my comments!
