Bug Description

Greetings! It looks like upgrading to cairo-1.12.10 causes some of the fonts in the weather applet to draw incorrectly (see attached screenshot) It looks like it's possibly trying to scale them? (don't quote me on that though) The fonts draw correctly with cairo-1.12.8. Additionally, in the process of getting the screenshots, it appears that the LCD screenshot plugin no longer works with 1.12.10 either. Fortunately the Virtual LCD window exhibits the same behavior, so I was able to get a screenshot of that.

Running on 0.9.2 (with every sub-package up to date) on Gentoo 64 bit with a G510. I also tested it with the mx5500 and g15v2 Virtual LCD window drivers as well, and they all have the same issue.
