Bug Description
Binary package hint: migration-assistant
I'm installing Ubuntu 7.04 Desktop cd on a HP Compaq Presario SR1139uk. It has a pre-existing factory installation of Windows XP with two partitions. The first is recognised as /dev/hdc1 with a FAT32 filesystem. The second as /dev/hdc2 with NTFS , which has the XP system files and user settings.
During install I resized the second partition as guided and it created swap and root partitions in the freed space. Next the migration assistant started and was unable to find the Windows user account. I restarted the live cd and tried again, but it won't detect the accounts on hdc2.
I will attach the log files.
