SMB-Root in Marlin not working

Bug Description
When opening the "entire network" and browsing to "windows networks" (my laptop is the only linux machine in network) nothing happens. Marlin is not able to open that, wheter by wlan nor by wired connection.
By opening nautilus I have connection to the network with all shared folders by wlan, but not by wired. After I opened a connection to a win8 pc in nautilus it sometimes also works in Marlin.
So it seems a problem with the file manager and smb.
Before installing the brilliant and genius eOS I was working with Xubuntu 12.10 and it worked like a charm.
