Bug Description

After doing an apt-get update today (2004-12-09), I noticed that
mysql-query-browser will not allow a connection to a remote database. It will
allow me to connect to a database on localhost. Also, if I use the binary
version of mysql-query-browser available on http://www.mysql.com, I can connect
to a remote database. This issuer also appears when I try to use mysql-admin.

mysql-query-browser package is 1.1.2-1
mysql-admin package is 1.0.16-1

I did notice an update to mysql-server to 4.0.22-6 today that may have updated
the mysql client libraries, so I installed mysql-server4.1, but this did not
resolve the issue.

I realize that these packages are in the universe repositories so maybe this is
the wrong place to post this bug report.
