I was unable to locate an upstream report to confirm this, nor have I been able to recreate an issue. Is this issue still occurring and if so, is there any other way I can possibly attempt to reproduce this? Thanks!

According to the KDE bug report upstream believe this to be fixed in KDE4.1.3. Does anyone still observe this crash with KDE4.1.3 or can we close this report now?
