Bug Description
There's a recently issued security update for MySQL to updates libmysqlclient18 mysql-common from V5.5.28 to V5.5.29
Any attempt to install that caused MariaDB to be removed from my system.

I've fixed it for the moment by using aptitude forbid-version libmysqlclient1
There's also no repo available for Quantal, I'm still using the MariaDB repo for Precise.
Machine is Viglen MPC-L running Quantal with a 3.2.0-35-generic #55-Ubuntu SMP kernel.
This affected me too, but I have the impression that this is a totally different package. /launchpad. net/ubuntu/ +source/ maria
This is not Maria DB, but "maria: reachability analyzer for Algebraic System Nets".
