Bug Description

Version 7.0-20130122-001415 with Survey module:

To reproduce:
- go to Tools > Surveys > Surveys
- on the top right corner of one of the demo surveys click "Edit"

Notice the space at the right of the "Save or Discard" buttons: it's empty and should feature action buttons.

- now click on the "Form View" button on the right-most side:

Note that now the buttons "Print, Attachment(s), More" are shown.

Hello,

Your video reproduces the problem: as you can see at 5'', no buttons are visible at the right of the "Save or Discard" buttons.
So, the user can's access the "More" or "Print" action buttons.
See what should be seen in the attached image.

Hello Daniel Reis,

This is not a problem but its behaviour, Whenever you have edit the record to kanban view. It's open the record on editable mode.

And on editble mode you can not see the more option which is working as a normally. See take one example.

Open the record from tree view edit the record, edit the record now you are not able to see the more options.
Same for the kanban, you are trying to edit the record , So here also you are not able to see the more options.

So this is not a bug rather a question, that's why I am going to convert it.

Thanks for the understanding!

You are right, but I still think that there is an issue.
There is a UI problem that should be fixed:

A double click in the Survey kanban does not open the survey document in form view mode, witch is inconsistent with other OpenERp kanbans, such as Project Tasks and Project Issues.

Should I open a distinct bug report for this?

Bug #1101325 for this was already reported by Ferdinand, and a fix is available.
I think this should be marked as a duplicate for that bug.

Hello Daniel Reis,

Your bug description and Bug #1101325 are not same, because in lp:1101325 it want to say that when we click on kanban record we are not able to edit it. We need to select Edit option. In that bug solution 'oe_kanban_global_click' class has been added which makes the record editable on click.

You are trying to edit the record, So it will open record on edit mode which is the behavior.

For this reason i am removing the duplicate.

Thanks.
