Bug Description

Binary package hint: kde-systemsettings

Good morning,

First of all I don't know if this is the correct package to report against, so I apologize if I linked it incorrectly. \

This is in Feisty Final: To reproduce the bug, open up system settings and click on the Advanced Tab. When you click on the Windows Application icon, a check to see if you have wine installed is run. On the check it references making sure you have administrative privileges which is spelled incorrectly.

I have created a patch with the fix for this bug which is attached here. Since this is my first try of such a patch here at (k)ubuntu, I hope I haven't done anything totally wrong, but certainly appreciate contructive feedback.

Thanks

Why a debdiff, it should be fixed upstream, right?

I've commited the typofix.

Which is a bit pointless since I had already committed the fix. :-)

Is this fixed in Gutsy now?

Jonathan Jesse (jjesse) wrote :

On my completly updated Gutsy install there is still a typo in Wine. Should Wine be capitalized or should it be lowercase? Example: "It appears you do not have wine installed." Should that be Wine or wine?

Also there is a new sentence which is where there is still a typo of: "wine can be used to run some programs..."
