Bug Description
The patches applied to the kernel need to be reviewed/updated for 3.8 kernel.
e.g. 0008-arm64-
Note: OE shuld switch to linux-linaro kernel instead of mainline.

Those patches are snapshot of aarch64-soc support and as such need to be updated if kernel has to be updated.
And we do not release OE kernel I think that switching to linux-linaro HEAD would add extra work to mantain without any benefits. We have out-of-OE linux-linaro kernel for release.
Unless we have to update OE kernel to use it release - in that case I am fine with updating it.
