Dash background flickers

Bug Description
When moving the mouse around the dash, the background changes colour and opacity in the top-left quadrant of the screen.
In the bottom-left corner, there is an area that is not smoothed with the rest of the dash. There is a pronounced line between this and the rest (see screenshot).
