Dash background flickers

When moving the mouse around the dash, the background changes colour and opacity in the top-left quadrant of the screen.

In the bottom-left corner, there is an area that is not smoothed with the rest of the dash. There is a pronounced line between this and the rest (see screenshot).

The issue with the bottom-left corner is LP: #1087534.

Looking at the GPU models it seem this issue is specific to NonGLSL hardware. I currently don't have access to my netbook but that's going to take a few weeks for me to test.
