Bug Description

Launcher has suddenly stopped hiding and showing automatically, it got "sticky" (i.e. always visible).
I'm pretty sure it will start working fine at the next reboot (or even just logout/in).

I think it is related to the following:
- I opened Firefox by clicking on its launcher icon
- Firefox somehow hanged;
-I couldn't move neither Firefox's window nor other windows (e.g. Chrome), however I could switch among tabs within Fifefox and within Chrome
- no program would respond to keyboard input, but mouse input seemed to work
- I closed Firefox by right-clicking on its launcher icon and selecting "quit"

=> then everything went back to normal, except that the Launcher now won't hide.

This may or not have been triggered by a bug in Firefox, but in both cases there's a bug in Launcher if it can, under any circumstance, "leak" its status or whatever determines its capacity to hide and show.

Thanks for your bug report. It can be quite difficult to get to the root cause of this type of issues. If you see this issue again can you please observe deeply to see if there are any steps we could use to reproduce the bug.

There will probably never be a reproducible sequence of steps, yet the bug is there.
It would be more useful, I think, if you could tell me what log files to attach next time it happens, that could contain information about what's happening.

I am actually not really sure what logs could be required for such issue. I dont think there are any (help?)

I don't know why this expired. There's no additional information I can provide and it could take ages until the day i will find a reproducible pattern.

It should be easier to review the code that controls the behavior of the launcher, and write it in such way that will ensure it will never, ever get sticky.
