Bug Description

When searching for applications in Slingshot, after the first keypress it makes an alert sound and selects the text. You can still input more characters but its a bit irritating.
Weren't there in older versions.

I don't know if it's related to this bug, but selecting text and then typing does not replace it, but appends it.

Yeah, that's the same bug. It happens because the cursor is always set to the end of the entry when you type. The branch I linked fixes it, it just has to be merged.
