Bug Description

In preferences under Controllers i have several lines:

C-Media USB Headphone Set ?b_3 <<>> Hid Interface Number 0x3
G15 GamePanel LCD ?b <<>> HID Unknown Device Number 0xff0/0x0
G15 GamePanel LCD ?b <<>> Unknown HID Desktop Device 0x1/0x7
G15 GamePanel LCD ?b_0 <<>> Hid Interface Number 0x0
G15 GamePanel LCD ?b_1 <<>> Hid Interface Number 0x1
G15 GamePanel LCD ?b_1 <<>> Hid Interface Number 0x1
USB Optical Mouse ?b <<>> Generic HID Mouse
USB Optical Mouse ?b <<>> HID Unknown Device 0xf1f3/0xf1f3

Note1: ? means unknown letter or symbol. Are you using standar UTF8 format for characters in Mixxxx?.
Note2: G15 have windows drivers installed, the controllers displayed in Preferences may change if you use G15 without drivers, then Windows will use G15 as an standard keyboard.
Note3: All this preferences are disable. I am not using these options at the moment.

I know G15 have differents sets of keys: multimedia keys, keys for ligth, etc, and the keyboard itself, but two equal lines are correct?.
2 optical mouses are correct?.
C-Media USB Headphone is an audio card with no controls, this line is correct?.

Thanks for the report! We use UTF-8 in many places in Mixxx though in this particular case I believe we are not decoding the string correctly (ether that or the G15 is weird).

I think the other G15 devices are for talking to different parts of the G15 (LCDs, etc.).

I'm not sure why two USB Optical Mouse devices are present. I assume this is a desktop and not a laptop that would have a trackpad in addition to your USB mouse?

If the C-Media USB Headphone has a volume slider then that could be why it is presented as an HID device (for controlling the system volume with that slider).

I don't know why you mean with a volume slider in C-Media USB Headphone card, if you mean a physical button then no, the card only have one input for microphones, and one output for headphones, nothing more on it. If you mean a software slider then yes, in windows in the task bar i have two sliders, one for the integrated audio chipset from my motherbard, and another for the USB audio card.
