the quickly template currently doesn't allow the user to import images.

Quickly template can now support adding images through the following commands :
quickly add image <path to image>
The image is added to your project. If the image already exists a new name is invented (in the form of a guid) which will allow the image to be referenced.
An image can also be added using the Web interface - quickly webedit
