Bug Description
When I start Noise, I see my CPU usage quickly spike to 100% usage on 3 cores. It's hard to imagine what kind of calculations it's doing, especially since this machine is overclocked to 4.9GHz. During playback, the interface will also freeze and the CPU will spike. In any case, this makes Noise much less usable for me, personally, though I'd love to use it. It's frustrating pausing the playback and not experiencing the actual pause 15-45 seconds later, due to Noise being frozen at 100% CPU.
