Bug Description
This is with the most recent version of Unity on 12.10.
To reproduce, fire up terminal and hit F11 for full-screen mode. Hit the super key. Notice that the launcher does not reveal itself. At this point, try typing "fire" and hitting enter. Notice that firefox will launch (assuming it was not already running). This indicates that the input focus has shifted to the launcher/HUD, but it is hidden behind the full-screen window.
This makes rapidly switching between contexts significantly more challenging.
