2.6.9 kernel included in installer but not post install

I tried the 1206 Hoary CD out recently. While the 2.6.9 kernel was present in
the install, after
install 2.6.8.1 was on the system. It seems as though 2.6.9 could be integrated
into the CD snapshots, especially if it
is used in the installer.

For your information, you don't need to file this class of bug in the future; we
were aware of the situation, but it was purely while we were transitioning to
the new kernels. We'll always ensure that the kernels in final releases are in sync.
