Feisty: Kopete freezes when trying to Configure

When I am trying to access the Configure options, my Kopete opens a new window which remains white and locks the whole application up. I eventually have to [Terminate] the program but there is no back trace.

I cannot connect with the GMail (Jabber) account that I have setup, and I cannot ever get any other accounts set up (aka to test my MSN/hotmail chat)

Attached is a screenshot of what I eventually get -- a white window which never is drawn. The whole program is unresponsive.

Thank you for reporting this bug. What version of Kopete are you using? Also, it may have something to do with the plugins, could you check if you enabled all plugins, if so, could you disable them and try again. We'll need that information here.Thanks.

It is Kubuntu's Kopete 0.12.4, but its been unusable since I installed
Feisty.

Only the default History plugin is enabled.

I have not been using Kopete in Feisty since this bug (and maybe others)
prevents me from a stable chat program and never remembers my settings. I
hope that you can fix it! Please let me know if there is anything more I
can help with.

Changing the status from Unconfirmed to Needs Info. I can't seem to reproduce this bug. However, I'll be keeping an eye out for this or any related bug. Hopefully, we'll be able to determine what causes this. In the mean time, I need to ask you to do 3 more steps for me since I suspect this may be account related (in Kopete).
1) Disable the History Plugin
2) Remove the IRC account
3) restart Kopete.
