When you change language in openerp 7 and you try to add an attachmentthe url (action) http://54.228.245.9:8069/web/binary/upload_attachment is translated to http://54.228.245.9:8069/web/binary/upload_translated and you get an 404 error

The problem affect openobject-addons and openerp-web.

Indeed, this technical URL value should not be marked as translatable. This has been fixed in the following revisions:
- for addons 7.0, at revision 8738 rev-id: <email address hidden>
- for web 7.0, at revision 3772 rev-id: <email address hidden>

Anthony, thanks for proposing a patch! Your patch would however only fix the current translations, but what we need is to completely disable translations for this special technical value. This is what we did.
Note that these incorrect terms will eventually disappear from the terms to translate (and for the PO files) when we will re-export the translations, which should happen soon. In the mean time they will simply be ignored.
