Bug Description

There is a speaker pop at boot when sound is enabled (tested on 13.04). Probably when driver is initiating the HW.

i have this problem too - 13.04 64 bit (unity) - doesn't seem to matter whether lightdm or gdm is the startup window manager.

This bug is missing log files that will aid in diagnosing the problem. From a terminal window please run:

apport-collect 1098913

and then change the status of the bug to 'Confirmed'.
