Bug Description

At version 1.10.1, x86) it was no problem to configure Midi devices:
the installed Midi Yoke was recognised and I could configure it.

Now (v.1.11-beta2, 64-bit) I am not shown the 8 ports of Midi Yoke at all but five other strange ports (s. attachment).

I would like to suggest that the midi yoke software is 32bit only, and will only work with other 32bit applications. In this case, installing 32bit Mixxx would fix this, however there are other midi loopback drivers which support 64bit.

Non-issue?
Only a 32-bit build of Mixxx can access 32-bit MIDI drivers (Windows). Midi Yoke is 32-bit.
There are more recent Windows midi loopback drivers that support 64-bit, like loopMIDI which I've tested to work with Mixxx x64.

Hi, I had a look at this once more. This is definitely an issue of a mismatch between bitness, and is not a bug with the Mixxx codebase.

Midi Yoke was last updated in 2007 and is only available in 32 bit. The loopMIDI alternative I suggested, which is also free, is compatible with "Windows XP up to Windows 10, 32 and 64 bit."

http://www.tobias-erichsen.de/software/loopmidi.html

As this particular midi loopback driver supports both 32 and 64 bit, I can confirm that either bitness of Mixxx will work. All that is left is to have some midi + mixxx controller scripting fun ;)
