tool window contents to not redraw when returning focus

Bug Description
First off, great app, I'm getting loads done with it.
When using the app, and I select another app, the tool windows hide.
when reselecting the app, the the tool windows do not have any contents.
Workaround:
close the file, then reopen the file, windows restore. properly.
