Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

How about to do a sudo apt-get autoclean after an distro upgrade (partial or full) ?

It will help newbies to clean up all the downloaded packages to upgrade and don't see messages like.. "Where my disk space go after the upgrade?"

Usually the daily apt cronjob will take care for this, but it will not hurt to run autoclean too.

This would actually make a fine computer-janitor plugin, now that update-manager uses them. It's too late for jaunty, but we can put in early in the karmic cycle, if Michael finds that acceptable.
