Bug Description

I am running Inkscape 0.48.3.1 r9886 on Ubuntu 12.10
When I have just launched Inkscape and with the mouse or keyboard call File>Open Recent> no matter which of the dozen files from the list I choose, the most recent file opens and only the most recent file opens.
I expect the file that i point out to open.
