Bug Description

Binary package hint: gpdf

Using the page down key or the next page button, gpdf displays the next page over the top of the first page such that the text of both pages are displayed simultaneously and occupying the same space, thereby not legible when text occupies the same coordinates on the two pages. This continues with subsequent pages such that eventually all that is visible are wide black lines where lines of text appear on most pages. This is repeatable with PDF files produced by Open Office, ps2pdf, and downloaded.

I was seeing this also with gutsy-rc.
It looks like the background of any new page is transparent.

Workaround:
Use xpdf or evince instead. Both render fine.
