Bug Description

When running unity --replace it reports that it enables software rendering because it is not supported by my hardware (Unity is not supported by your hardware. Enabling software rendering instead (slow).), but in the next line it displays "Unity is fully supported by your hardware."

Running unity_support_test also shows full support, which leaves me quite confused. Graphics Card is an NVidia Quadro FX 360M (G86M) and the driver is nvidia-experimental-310.

Unity runs somewhat slow, but I cannot tell whether it actually uses software or hardware rendering (maybe the perceived slowness is caused by something else). Below is the full output of the command:

$ unity --replace

Confirmed. The root cause looks the same as bug 1066764. However my fix for that is unlikely to ever be approved :(
