Bug Description
The following error occurred during lucid-precise upgrade of universe packages of amd64
ERROR Could not calculate the upgrade An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade:
E:Error, pkgProblemResol
This can be caused by:
* Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu
This could be due to broken dependency (the following is the extract from apt.log)
Investigating libcv-dev
Package libcv-dev has broken Depends on libopencv-
Considering libopencv-
Holding Back libcv-dev rather than change libopencv-
Done
This occurs in an automated set up and the this is what the tests do,
1. Create a lucid base image using ubuntu-vm-builder, for amd64, and openssh-server as an additional package
2. Bootstrap it to the Lucid ubuntu-standard image with universe packages
3. Upgrade it to the next lts release (precise) using do-release-upgrade
The automation setup is explained in
https:/
The profile name used for this upgrade is lts-universe-amd64 (the use of the profile is explained in the above wiki) - attachment 9
