"Stock" Table needed?

Bug Description
There is a table in the database called "Stock" featuring only the id, nothin else.
Is this needed?

the tables are created by sqlalchemy. In our design "Stock" is a type of "Asset", but does not add additional fields. so yes, we do not really need that table. I don't know how to tell that to sqlalchemy.
