Bug Description

Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree

Upgrading from edgy to fiesty I found that firefox no longer had the flash plugin installed. Yes the flashplugin-nonfree package was still installed on the system.

apt-get remove flashplugin-nonfree && apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

fixed the problem. apparently this meta package doesn't track the actual installed files so they got wiped during another part of the distro upgrade and it had no idea that it needed to rerun the macromedia adobe installer.

Changed package to update-manager since update-manager deals with removing keeping packages.
Can you please attach the 3 files in /var/log/dist-upgrade to this bug report
