D&D file to Project - Novacut crashes

I just tried to drag & drop a video file on my test Project to add it. The result was that the program crashed.

“novacut-gtk crashed with microfiber.BadRequest in request(): 400 Bad Request: GET /novacut-0/file:///home/username/Videos/big_buck_bunny_480p_stereo.ogg”

Is there a UI way to add local files to Novacut?
