Bug Description

I have a Logitech H600 wireless head phone. When I remove the radio USB stick, my Lenovo X220 freezes. It becomes completely inoperable, and all I can do is shut down with the power button. The behavior is reproduceable.

Though I have been doing this radio removal on a regular basis (say, once a week), I saw the crash only in the last week or so. I do update the 12.04 system diligently. Please let me know which package I should look at.

I don't see the problem when I remove the radio stick for my (also logitech) mouse.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1093085/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package.

OK, so this time when my daughter pulled the stick out, immediate kernel panic resulted. Should I run the apport command again? Should I file this as a kernel bug?
