Bug Description

Binary package hint: base-installer

Seems to be related with bug #103532
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/103532

After a fresh install of Feisty, the automatically generated /etc/network/interfaces lists also wireless card interfaces. This prevents network-manager from configuring them for WPA.

Workaround: manually remove ifaces for wireless cards in /etc/network/interfaces and restart dbus

Suggestion: exclude wireless devices from network autodetection and let network manager handle them.
