Bug Description

Using Kubuntu, Feisty, Have approx 15 samba shares showing on the desktop.

The default label says "Remote Share (//servername/sharename) (sharename)".

When attempting to modify the label to show only the sharename, an error occurs.

"Access Denied /mnt/Remote Share (%2F%2Fservername%2Fsharename) (sharename)"

Changing the label should not affect the mount point in any way.

The Gnome interface appears correct, but the Kde interface appears to be broken.

Good afternoon,

I am working on triaging some older bugs here and noticed this one. I am wondering if you are still having problems with not being able to rename Remote Samba Share desktop icon lables? I have one share that I have been able to rename. If you are still ahving problems with this bug please make sure to include the version of Kubuntu and which version of KDE you are using.

Thanks,

Jonathan
