Bug Description

When I insert a Video DVD into my computer, I expect a KDE window to pop up like it does for a USB drive or other media. This functionality seems to be configured to work for video DVDs, but nothing actually happens.

Not sure if this is related but the KDE Kicker Applet 'Storage Media' also does not show video DVD disks. If this is separate I will file a separate report, please let me know.

Can you please attach the output from dmesg after inserting a DVD?

Changed in kde-hal-device-manager:
status: Incomplete → Invalid
