Bug Description
If you are in the home directory on a fresh install (my scenario) and press ctrl+h to show the hidden files and folders, the spacing between the items changes to what nautilus typically has (what I prefer) instead of the tight grid pantheon-files has. Afterwards the spacing is the same until you change directory.

Ah, I see now that the grid automatically adjusts to the file names in the directory. This looks very inconsistent when browsing the filesystem, shouldn't the application rather try to stick with a default grid size?
