Bug Description

It would be nice if you could enable CONFIG_BOOTPARAM_*LOCKUP_PANIC in the Ubuntu kernel configurations. This should allow you to get valuable information about various sorts of kernel lock-ups. It would be nice for me as a user as I do see lock-ups from time to time which I am unable to provide good information about as they are not reliably reproducible and often on the road.
